City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) is situated at No. 8 Gaoxiong Road, Songshan Lake, Dongguan, Guangdong Province. The campus is designed with the principles of "Unity," "Wisdom," "Diversity," "Heritage," and "Ecology." It connects the first and second phases of the campus through a landscape platform, blending natural elements like hills and water bodies with the architectural environment. This integration creates a unique landscape that embodies the university's open and inclusive culture while harmonizing natural and human elements with cultural heritage and modern features. The campus is an international, modern university environment that reflects the natural scenery and Lingnan characteristics.

Our dormitories are shared between two students in a room designed for four. Each room is equipped with beds, wardrobes, bookshelves, desks, chairs, and heating and cooling air-conditioning.

The university’s inaugural intake includes seven undergraduate programs: Computer Science, Electronic and Information Engineering, Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology, Engineering Management, Business Information Systems, Data Science, and Biomedical Engineering.

Applicants for postgraduate certificates, diplomas, or taught master's programs must meet the general admission criteria of CityU (Dongguan):

Hold a recognized bachelor’s degree from an institution in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, or abroad; or hold equivalent qualifications recognized by the university.

Note: Final-year undergraduate students who will obtain the required qualifications before the start of the program may also apply.

80% of the faculty are from City University of Hong Kong, and 70% come from 35 different countries and regions.

City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) primarily uses English as the medium of instruction. Courses in Ideology and General Studies, as well as Chinese language courses, are taught in Mandarin.

Graduates will receive a master's degree certificate from City University of Hong Kong.

Graduates are eligible for a 2-year Hong Kong IANG work visa upon graduation.
